Frequently asked questions
Motion Doctor is a movement coaching platform. You take a Custom Movement Assessment, and we build a personalized program designed for your body and your goals, with an AI coach that guides you and adapts the plan as you progress. The coach is not generic AI. It has been trained and vetted by Dr. Desirea Caucci, PT, DPT, built to think the way she does after 25 years of helping people move. You are getting her approach and her expertise, available whenever you need it, almost like having her in your corner around the clock.
No. Motion Doctor is movement coaching and education, not medical care, physical therapy, or a diagnosis. If you have an injury, severe pain, or a medical concern, please see a doctor or a licensed clinician. We are here for the everyday stiffness and limitations that keep you from moving and doing what you love.
General AI gives you answers. Motion Doctor gives you a structured program built for your body that adapts as you go, with memory of your progress and a coach that checks in. It runs on 25 years of one clinician's real-world expertise, built into the questions, the logic, and the exercises, not scraped from the open internet. Think of it as a specialist for your body, not a generalist that knows a little about everything.
Motion Doctor is built on the clinical expertise of Dr. Desirea Caucci, PT, DPT, who has spent 25 years helping people move better. Her experience and approach are encoded into the entire platform.
No. Your program is built around what you have. Most movements need little or no equipment, and the plan adapts to your space and your ability.

We’re not a replacement for licensed care. We’re built for the people in the middle, those whose bodies are asking for attention but who aren’t ready to schedule a clinical appointment. If your situation needs a clinician’s eyes, we’ll tell you and help you find licensed care nearby.
You’ll answer 8 questions about how your body feels and moves. It takes about 3 minutes. We help you understand what may be contributing to how your body feels, then give you 2-3 simple ways to start improving how your body moves.
If you’re experiencing severe pain, a recent injury, unusual symptoms like numbness or tingling, or anything that feels urgent, see a licensed professional first. Our assessment will also flag situations where licensed care is the right next step and point you toward someone nearby.
The guidance we provide is movement coaching, not medical advice. We include safety guidance with every recommendation and refer out to licensed professionals whenever something needs more than coaching can offer.
Yes. Your guidance is based on how your body feels, moves, and responds to the assessment. We’re not giving you generic routines. We’re helping you start with what makes the most sense for your body.
Everyone’s body is different, but most people feel better once they’re doing the right things consistently. The first step is understanding what your body actually needs.
